For your clients to be able to pay with Visa/Mastercard, an additional on-boarding is required at our credit card acquirer 'Worldline'. As a result of the procedure being extensive, the following guide article is written to assist with the on-boarding procedure. To be able to start the procedure, it is required to have an approved PayPro merchant account. The following article will further elaborate on the steps of the onboarding procedure.

The process is as follows:

  1. Intake form credit card

When you are logged in to PayPro, you will see a header with ‘Request credit card’ at the top of the page. By clicking on this button, you will be directed to the intake form. This is the initial step of the intake procedure. The intake form allows PayPro to assess the request using the intake form. Furthermore, the questions will determine whether additional documents/information are required.

  2. Additional documentation

After having filled out the intake form, you will receive an e-mail from PayPro that states the intake form has been received and that PayPro will get back to you within two working days. It is important to read the e-mail carefully, as the answers to the intake form determine if additional documents are required. If this is the case, the e-mail will state which required documents are needed. The additional documentation can be provided by responding to the email that is sent by

  3. Document checks

Based on the information in the intake form, PayPro will start filling out the necessary documents. After the documents are filled out, PayPro will send these documents back to you in order to be provided with initials and an additional signature by you.

After receiving the signed documents plus the additional documents/ information as mentioned in the second step, PayPro will send all the documents to our credit card acquirer to start the on-boarding. Once PayPro receives a definitive answer regarding the on-boarding, this will be communicated with an approval and/or rejection. The on-boarding takes approximately two weeks.

Costs of credit card

For the on-boarding, Worldline charges a yearly compliance fee of €34, - which is invoiced by them. Next to the compliance fee, there is a rate per transactions, which can be found at
