WooCommerce Plugin Update 3.1.0
WooCommerce Plugin Update 3.1.0
Updated over 2 weeks ago

The article below contains important information about the update to our WooCommerce plugin, which has implications for using the old plugin.

Why is this necessary?

The new update transitions the plugin from our current API to a new API. Before this change can take place, some adjustments are required in your environment to ensure everything continues to work smoothly. Below are the 3 main steps you need to complete for a seamless transition.

Configure API Key

You need to set the PayPro API key in the settings of our WooCommerce plugin. Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to app.paypro.nl.

  2. Go to "Developers" and create an API key.

  3. Copy the API key and navigate to your WordPress dashboard.

  4. Open the settings of the PayPro plugin, paste the API key into the field next to "PayPro API Key," and click "Save Changes."

Create a Webhook

In the same screen as above, you’ll see the blue text "Webhook." Click "Create Webhook" if it hasn’t been created yet. You can check your PayPro dashboard to see if a webhook is already active.

Remove iDEAL Issuer

It is no longer allowed to let customers choose their bank before completing an iDEAL payment. Therefore, we have removed this feature from the plugin. If you still see a "Select your bank" field after the update, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Go to "WooCommerce" in the left-hand menu of your dashboard.

  2. Open the "Payments" tab.

  3. Select "iDEAL."

  4. You will see the "Description" field. Remove its contents.

  5. Click save, and the field should no longer be visible.

I do not use the plugin yet, but I want to!

To us our plugin succesfully, you will need to follow the steps in this guide article: https://guide.paypro.nl/en/articles/4595222-woocommerce-plugin
