What is 1-Click-Upsell?
1-Click-Upsell provides your customers with the possibility to purchase an additional product with just 1 click (after the initial payment). The product is automatically debited (with a collection) from the previously used bank account that is used by the initial purchase. Therefore, the customer doesn't have to make an iDEAL payment again. A 1-click upsell often has a high conversion, because it is easy and attractive for the buyer to order another product.
When can I use the 1-Click-Upsell button?
Use the 1-click-upsell in combination with the payment page of PayPro. It is important to know that for a 1-Click-Upsell the IBAN must be known by us. The 1-Click-Upsell therefore can only be used when a direct payment is settled via iDEAL. If you do not pay with iDEAL, the customer will be redirected to the normal 'Page after successful payment', which must be filled in at your 'Payment button" settings
How do I set up the 1-Click-Upsell page?
If you do not yet have a payment page to which you want to link the 1-Click-Upsell, make sure you first create a payment page.
Open the desired payment page to which you want to link the upsell. You do this by clicking on the title of the payment button.
On the left side you will find the heading '1-Click-Upsell'. By clicking on it you will be sent to the page where you can set up this feature.
If this is the first time you are creating a 1-Click-Upsell, this screen will be empty. Click on `New 1-Click-Upsell' to create one now.
On this screen you can fill in a number of fields, I will explain them below:
Name: this is the name of the product/service you are offering
Price incl. VAT: the amount that will be charged to the customer
VAT %: the applicable VAT percentage
Original price incl. VAT: is the price mentioned an offer? Inform the customer of the discount you are offering here
Page after successful payment: the URL where we send the customer after agreeing to the payment
Description: here you can also explain the additional product or service offered. In addition, here you have the opportunity to thank the customer for the initial purchase
Logo: upload here an image of the offered product or service
If all fields are in order, click on 'Create and link'.
Your 1-Click-Upsell is now linked to the payment page! Open 'Preview' to see how your upsell page looks.
NOTE: There is no test mode available when setting up the 1-Click-Upsell. You can however use the 'preview' button to see what screen the consumer will see.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I change the colors of my 1-Click-Upsell?
The colors of the upsell are taken from your Martini payment page. Do you want to change them? Then navigate to 'personalization' in the settings of your payment page.
What happens after my sale?
After purchasing the 1-Click-Upsell, the customer is redirected to the 'thank you' page. Now there are several options to actually process the order. You can - of course - process the order manually, but also use external services. Within PayPro you have the option to use 'postbacks', where the product code of the 1-Click-Upsell is mentioned. In addition, when you make a new sale in PayPro, you can have a zap sent by Zapier. In short, there are plenty of possibilities!
How do I change the logos on my 1-Click-Upsell page?
There are two logos listed on the page. One of them is your company logo, which can be set via my profile. Do you not want to show the company logo? Remove it via my settings -> sales settings.
You can also change the product logo. You do this by navigating in the left side of the PayPro menu to payment pages and by clicking on the created 1-Click-Upsell product. Here you can also change the description, USP's and price of your 1-Click-Upsell.
How do I link my 1-Click-Upsell to multiple payment pages?
Many merchants find it useful to link the offer to multiple payment pages. This is possible! To do this, navigate to 'Payment pages' on the left side of the PayPro menu. Then open the 1-Click-Upsell settings by clicking on the name of the created page. Under the heading 'integrations' you can find the linked payment pages and link them to new payment pages. It is therefore possible to link this page to multiple payment pages.
